#10n1 Computer Science - A Population Model

Lesson Objectives 
LO1 - To develop the design section of your A Population Model

Outcomes
Red - You will have set up your evidence document
Amber - You will have explained the task and user needs
Green - You will have completed an IPSO table

  • Created a Population Model folder in Sites
  • Create a new file and save it as: Surname_ Forename_58243_Cand.No_ Population_Model_CA
  • Added a cover page with your details on
  • Added a contents page
  • Added key headings to each page
  • Added header with your details
  • Added footer with page number
  • “What does the problem involve?”
    • Write a paragraph in the Design of Solution section of your Evidence Document that explains what the program needs to do
  • “What Do I Need to do for Each Task?”
    • For each task 1 -6 write a couple of sentences in the Design of Solution section of your Evidence Document explaining what you need to do in your own words
  • “What Does the User Need?”
    • For each task 1 -6 write a couple of sentences in the Design of Solution section of your Evidence Document explaining what the user needs are for each task
  • “IPSO Table”
    • For each task 1 -6 identify the inputs, outputs, processes, storage needed for each task and put them into an IPSO table
  • “Overview Flowchart”
    • Use draw.io to create a flow chart showing the steps that will be needed in your program – use your IPSO table to help
  • “Task Flowcharts”
    • Use draw.io to create a more detailed flow chart for each task that will show the steps that will be needed to complete it
