Lesson Objectives

LO -To identify the progress made so far on your 3d characters so that you can set targets for today's lesson

LO - To develop your 3d character nets to meet the requirements of the SPB

Starter (10 mins)

Find the the sheet with your name on at the bottom and fill it in - how much progress have you made so far? what do you need to do in today's lesson?

Main (35 mins)

1. Continue to work on the design for your hero and villain character nets in Adobe Illustrator. Each design must:

• only use elements from primary sources
• be created using only vector tools
• be a single net that folds to make the character
• fit on one sheet of A4
• include fold and cut lines, and areas to be glued
• include clear instructions on how each character should be assembled.

2. Print out your completed nets. Cut them out and glue them together.

Plenary (15mins)

Update the progress tracker spreadsheet on your Google Drive

Take screenshots of your work from today's lesson and add them to your 3d Character Design Log in Microsoft Publisher. Don't forget to annotate your screenshots to explain what you have done.
