#9m1 #9n5 Information Point

LO: Design and develop a suitable presentation to a given criteria

Exam Question:

Pupils must produce an information point to introduce an Olympic value and the SmallSteps4Life programme and how to use them to improve your lifestyle. It must also encourage students to take up a challenge. Pupils may want to have at least a slide on each of these.

  • Choose a title and introduce how to improve your life
  • One of the Olympic/Paralympic values and how SmallSteps4Life promotes it
  • Eat well information
  • Get active information
  • Feel good information
The information point will be run in the reception area of schools and colleges. Eventually, users must be able to select different screens using a mouse.

  • YOU make sure you know what you have to make
  • YOU must choose what software you will use for this task
  • YOU must show that you are and independent and resilient learner by creating your information point by yourself

EXTENSION TASKS 


Add an additional slide/slides highlighting the achievements of a particular Olympian/Paralympian. If possible, they should chose their favourite from this summers event.

Develop a system of navigating through your Info Point, without clicking through every slide... CLUE: Master slide & action buttons

Use a Camera to film somebody using your Info Point to prove it works

Upload your completed information point to your Google drive. Create a link to it on your blog



You need to access your personal Blog and create a new post detailing everything you have achieved in this mini project so far. Include all relevant information, links, images and videos where appropriate.
