LO1 - Develop your story idea further with the use of visual tools

  • What is storyboarding?
  • Why do we use this technique when designing products?


You now need to develop storyboards for the pages of your book:

  • Front Cover
  • Contents Page
  • Your story pages
  • Choice Page
  • Ending 1 Page
  • Ending 2 Page
Extension:
  • Annotate your final storyboards to explain:
    • Outline of the Story 
    • Characters
    • Images to be used
    • Fonts/Colours to be used.




  • On the back of your storyboard paper write two stars and a wish
  • Swap your sheet with a partner on your table
  • Fill in 2 stars and a wish for your partner

#8x6 Create Me A Story - Lesson 1



  • L01: Consider a variety of suitable topics for your story
  • L02: Develop your story further, taking into consideration critical feedback




  • You must create an interactive storybook for primary school children
  • Your book must have:
    • A front cover
    • A contents page
    • 3 animated story pages
    • A choice page where the reader will have to make a decision
    • Two different endings depending on what choice the user made



  • Create a mind map of your ideas for your story. You should include ideas for:
    • What happens
    • Characters
    • Title
    • Settings
    • The choice the user will make
    • Anything else you think might be useful
  • Use bubbl.us to make a mind map of your ideas

2. Fill in the proposal form with as much detail as you can
3. Get teacher feedback about your ideas an use it to improve your proposal

  • LO - To develop your website template to meet the needs of your target audience
  • OUTCOME - You will have set created a banner for your template and added suitable information to your pages
