#11n4 Heroes and Villains - Trading Cards 2
RED TASK - CREATE TRADING CARDS
- Use software of your choice to create your trading cards
- Hero Card
- Villain Card
- Additional Card (your choice)
- Same back for all
- Print, cut out and glue your cards together
- Photo the front and back of your cards
- Use Adobe Photoshop to create a display of your photos
GREEN TASK - COMPLETE YOUR DESIGN LOG
- Paper designs:
- Photo of the paper designs for each of your cards
- Annotation explaining your paper designs
- Feedback comments on your paper designs
- Trading Cards
- Screenshots of your cards at different stages of development
- Annotation explaining what you have done and why
- Annotated toolbars and menus showing the tools and techniques you have used
- Improvements
- Feedback comments about your completed cards
- Evidence of how you have improved your cards based on feedback

Starter

RED TASK- Designed all cards on paper
- Taken photos of your paper designs
AMBER TASK

- Get feedback about your first completed card - record it in your design log
- Make improvements to your trading card based on the feedback

#9n4 Heroes and Villains - Trading Cards - Lesson 10
- LO - To understand how to evidence your completed trading cards
- OUTCOME - You will have created and photographed 3 cards and created a card display using photoshop
5 minutes
Cut out and glue your 3 trading cards together
1. Finish your trading cards display in Adobe Photoshop
2. Take 2 photos showing the front and back of all 3 cards
3. Save the photos in the EVIDENCE folder in TRADING CARDS DISPLAY
5. Use your Adobe Photoshop skills to edit the photos you have taken of the trading cards
- Open Adobe Dreamweaver
- Link up your completed trading card display on the evidence page
- Link up your photos of the trading cards on the evidence page
- Attend a clinic if you are behind with your work

Insert them all into one word document

- Use only elements from primary sources
- Include relevant information about the image on the front
- Have the same design on the back

4. Link up your completed design log on the evidence page of your eportfolio
5. Produce one image showing the front and back of each card

#9p1 Heroes And Villains - Trading Cards
- LO - To develop a set of trading cards that will meet the brief of the SPB
- Write your name at the top of your checklist
- Identify what you need to do in today's lesson to make progress
- A set of 42 trading cards will be used to promote the game
- You must design three of the cards: one for you hero, one for your villain and one additional card
- The design on the back will be the same for each card
- Each card must:
- be double sided
- measure 6.5 cm wide and 9 cm high
- use only elements from primary sources
- include relevant information about the image on the front of the card
- Extension Task
- Update your design log showing the tools and techniques you have used to create each of your cards
- Update your checklist sheet
- Write a post on your blog
- What have you learnt today?
- What do you need to do next lesson?

4. Link up your Trading Cards Design Log on the Evidence page of your website
5. Link up all of your completed trading cards on the Products page of your website
