- LO - To appreciate what screens you will need to develop as part of your game's interface
- OUTCOME - You will have drawn storyboards for all screens needed for your game

- For 11 marks,
- a student must have recorded progress from the initial moodboard,through design, prototyping and testing, to the final game and include evidence of:
- the entire design process with evidence of extensive testing and detailed response to user feedback
- full justification of design decisions
- development of a wide range of effective assets.
- How can you make sure that your storyboards will meet this descriptor?
- Draw storyboards for each of the screens that we have identified
- Main Menu
- Instructions (controls + objectives)
- Story (from the SPB)
- Level1
- Level2
- Level3
- Level4
- Level5
- Win Screen
- Lose Screen
- Extension: Draw Storyboards for any other screens you want in your game
- Your drawings must be as detailed as you can make them - ask yourself could you give them to me and I would be able to create your game from them?
- 6 storyboards completed by the end of the lesson - must work faster
- 7-9 storyboards completed by the end of the lesson- OK on track
- All 10 storyboards completed by the end of the lesson - ahead of schedule - green eref
- Swap storyboards with a test buddy
- On the back of their designs give them 2 stars and a wish
- Think carefully about:
- Do their designs suit the target audience?
- Do their designs suit the story of their chosen game?
- Could you make the game based on their designs?
- Finish drawing your storyboards for next lesson
- Attend clinics if you need to complete missing work from last year
