#11n1 Design It Storyboards Lesson 4



  • LO - To develop a set of storyboards so that you can visualise your game
  • Outcome - You will have completed at least 4 storyboard templates to a high standard



  • Read the SPB requirements for your storyboards:



  • STORYBOARDS
    You must produce a set of detailed storyboards for your game. 
    Create your storyboards and rules for the game. Use the storyboard template to help you.
    Make sure your storyboards are detailed enough for others to visualise the finished product.
    Make sure that you have included all general rules as well as specific rules for each screen.
    Gather feedback and make changes if necessary.
    Use your storyboards to record feedback and action taken.
    Save your storyboards in your DEVELOPMENT folder.

  • In today's lesson you should continue to complete the storyboard templates for your game designs:
    • Menu Screen
    • Instructions Screens
    • Back story screen
    • Level1
    • Level2
    • Level3
    • Level4
    • Level5
    • Winning Screen
    • Losing Screen

  • PROGRESS CHECK:
    • Less than 4 storyboard templates - behind you need to speed up
    • 4 - 5 storyboard templates - well done you are on track
    • 6+ storyboard templates - well done you are ahead of schedule - keep it up

  • EXTENSION: Create storyboards for any other screens you might want in your game, for example:
    • Option Screen
    • Character select screen
    • Pause Screen
    • Tutorial Level



  • Log on to your school email
  • Update the 11n1 Game Design Progress Tracker spreadsheet on your Google Drive



  • Attend a clinic to complete any improvements to last years work
  • DEADLINE IS TOMORROW - FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER
