#9n4 3D Characters



  • LO - To develop your vector graphic skills in Adobe Illustrator
  • OUTCOME - You will have created a 3D character net and added fold lines


  • Use the internet to find out how to do a dashed line in Adobe Illustrator
  • Why do you think that you will need to know this in today's lesson?


  • Task 1
    • Complete your first 3d Character Net
      • only use elements from primary sources
      • be created using only vector tools
      • be a single net that folds to make the character
      • fit on one sheet of A4

  • Task 2
    • include fold and cut lines, and areas to be glued
    • include clear instructions on how each character should be assembled.

  • Task 3
    • Start creating your second 3d Character net


  • Write a post on your blog telling me what you have learnt in today's lesson


  • Attend a clinic if you are behind with your work
