#9p1 Creating Your Eportfolio Lesson 2



  • LO - To develop a website using templates and appreciate the advantages of this method
  • OUTCOME - You will have used templates to create an eportfolio and edited to improve it's appearance


  • Open Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Manage sites - can you remember how to manage your site from our last lesson?
    • Mange your eportfolio and open the Index, Products and Evidence page in Dreamweaver
    • Tip: Click on manage sites in the bottom left hand corner to start




  • Task 1
    • Copy and paste the information from the evidence page and products page of this example eportfolio onto the same pages in your eportfolio

  • Task 2
    • Open the logo of your chosen template in either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Fireworks
    • Create a new logo over the top of it relating to the theme of the SPB - Heroes and Villains
    • Save it over the top of the old logo
    • You should now see your new logo in your eportfolio

  • Task 3 
    • Customise the editable parts of your website so that it look how you want it to do



  • Log on to your school email - click here
  • Write a post on your blog telling Miss Squires what you have learnt / achieved in today's lesson


  • Come to a clinic if you need to sort out any problems with your eportfolio
