#11n4 Heroes and Villains - 3D Characters Lesson 9 - 3D Characters 5

Lesson Objectives: To develop your 3d Character and Vector graphic skills

Outcomes:You will have begun to add colour and detailing to your 1st character

Starter

Use it to help you create an eye for your character

Only make 1 eye - copy and paste the 2nd one


Add a close up screenshot to your design log in Microsoft Publisher

Main


Two character designs will be printed on special cereal packs so they can be cut out and assembled to make 3D freestanding characters.
You must produce designs for two 3D characters, one hero and one villain.
Product Produce a design for each character.
Each design must:

  • only use elements from primary sources
  • be created using only vector tools
  • be a single net that folds to make the character
  • fit on one sheet of A4
  • include fold and cut lines, and areas to be glued
  • include clear instructions on how each character should be assembled
 

Plenary

1. Add at least one screenshot from today's lesson into your design log - annotate it to explain what you have done
2. Update your progress tracker from the start of the lesson - did you make the progress you expected to? What do you need to do next lesson?
