1. Go to www.examtime.com and log in using Google Connect2. Click on the Create button and choose a new mindmap
3. Give your mind map the title "Operating Systems". On your mind map explain:
- What is an operating system?
- What is the purpose of an operating system?
- What are the most common operating systems in use today?
- List as many of the functions of an operating system as you can, here are some to get you started:
- Provides a user interface
- Booting the computer
- File Management
- Managing the hardware and software
- What else does it do?
- Can you explain the functions you have just listed?
- What is a GUI? What are it's the advantages and disadvantages?
- What is a CLI? What are it's the advantages and disadvantages?
