Brief - Design and Create a logo for Heroes and Villains
A good logo:
A concept or “meaning” is usually behind an effective logo, and it communicates the intended message.

A logo should:

  • be able to be printed at any size 
  • be effective without color.
A great logo essentially boils down to two things: great concept and great execution.


Task 1 - Design Your Logo


  • On paper - sketch out design ideas for a logo 
  • Get some feedback from a partner of your designs - which one will you take forward

Task 2 - Create Your Logo


  • Why should you use vector graphics to create your logo? What advantages do they offer for this task? 
  • Using Adobe Illustrator create your logo
  • Save it in Sites --> DA203SPB --> Evidence --> Logo 

Plenary

Open a new document in Microsoft Publisher 

Put a title LOGO DESIGN LOG

Add in some screenshots showing what you have done in today's lesson

Annotate them to explain the tools you have used and the design decisions that you have made
