#11p4 Heroes And Villains

Lesson Objectives: To continue to develop your Heroes and Villains Project


Outcomes:You will have completed at least 1 piece of work in today's lesson

Choice 1 - 3d Characters

1. Using Adobe Illutstrator complete your hero and villain nets
  • only use elements from primary sources
  • be created using only vector tools
  • be a single net that folds to make the character
  • fit on one sheet of A4
  • include fold and cut lines, and areas to be glued
  • include clear instructions on how each character should be assembled.
2. Print them out and make them

3. Photograph them and use Adobe Photoshop to make a display of the photos

4. Fill in your 3d character design log


Choice 2 - Phone Wallpaper

1. Using Adobe Photoshop create a wallpaper for mobile phones that will promote your game
  • be created using only graphic tools to edit and combine elements
  • include a photograph of each 3D character
  • be an appropriate size and resolution for a mobile phone screen.
2. Fill in your Phone Wallpaper design log



Choice 3 - Trading Cards
 
1. Using Adobe Photoshop / Fireworks / Illustrator you must design three trading cards: one for your hero, one for your villain, plus one additional card.The design on the back will be the same for each card.
Each card must:

  • be double-sided
  • measure 6.5 cm wide and 9 cm high
  • use only elements from primary sources
  • include relevant information about the image on the front.
2. print out and make your cards

3. Take photos of them and use Adobe Photoshop to make a display of your photos 

4. Fill in your Trading Cards design log

Choice 4 - Link It All Up
1. Open your heroes and villains website in Adobe Dreamweaver
2. Use the checklist on Mrs Palmer's blog to make sure you have everything linked up on the correct page
