Starter

What is the purpose of the front cover of a book?

What things would you expect to see on an effective front cover?

Main

1. Open Adobe Fireworks
2. Create a new canvas 800 x 600
3. Using your graphics skills create a front cover for your book
• Name of the book
• The Author's name (you)
• Suitable image(s) that will appeal to your target audience (primary school kids)
4. Save your work in Sites --> Create Me A Story

Once you have completed your front cover finish your character from last lesson

Plenary

1. Go to File Store / Read / ICT / Mr Smith / Classes / 8w7 / 
2. Open the file Unit 4 Animation Writing Frame
3. Paste in screenshots of your character and front cover

Level 4 - Create an animated story using Adobe Fireworks

Level 5 - All level 4 work & completing the writing frame that with full detail
Level 6 - All level 5 work & screen shot and talk about the improvements you've made and how these improvements have helped you meet your user needs.
