#9m1 On A Mission - Am I Fully Up To Date?

As we don't have access to GameMaker in today's lesson use the time to catch up on any missing work and / or paper work

Task 1 - Design Work

Complete any missing design work for your game

  • Matt - Need to complete and link up storyboards 
  • Beth A - Need to draw out stroyboards on paper and then fill in the templates
  • Oscar - add feedback comments, finish annotating all storyboards fully
  • Mackenzie - finish annotating all storyboards fully
  • Joe H - link up game overview, add missing paper designs to storyboard templates
  • Angus - redraw your paper designs and put them back into the storyboard templates
  • Jack - add feedback comments to each of your moodboard annotations
  • Lucy - make sure that you have all of the required items annotated on your moodboard, fix link to level 3 storyboard
  • Joe R- make sure that you have all of the required items annotated on your moodboard
  • Amy T - make sure that you have feedback comments on your moodboard annotations
  • Kieran - make sure that you have all of the required items annotated on your moodboard


Task 2 - Assets Table


  • Make sure that your assets table is fully up to date. It should include:
    • Your game screens (primary source)
    • Any images that you created (primary source) or collected (secondary source)
    • Any sounds that you created (primary source) or collected (secondary source)
  • Make sure that you have linked up your assets table to your website

Task 3 - Development Log

Make sure that your development log is fully up to date
  • Section 1 Formative Testing
    • Make sure that you have copied & pasted all the actions and events from the rules log
    • Fill in 
  • Section 2 Feedback
    • Record and feedback given to you by other people and write how you responded to it
  • Section 3 Teacher Comments
    • Write down anything I have said to you about your game
  • Section 4 Design Changes
    • Explain what changes you have made from your original ideas and why you had to make them
  • Make sure that you have linked up your development to your website



    Task 4 - Development Assets for your Game

    • Use whatever time you have left to develop assets you might need for your game
      • Backgrounds for levels
      • Tile Sets so that you can create your own style of platforms
      • Draw characters / enemies / bonus object sprites
      • Create and / or collect any music or sound effects for your game
    • Make sure that your record anything you create or collect in your assets table
