#11m2 Moodboard Lesson 4

LO1 – To understand what I am looking for when marking your moodboard so that you will be able to achieve full marks for section A


Starter

  • Update the checklist on the back of your moodboard to see what you still need to do on your moodboard


Main


Using the resources you have collected in the last two lessons start creating your moodboard
  • The target audience 
  • The game genre (type of game) 
  • The style of the game (how it will look) 
  • How you imagine the scenes 
  • How you imagine the characters might look 
  • Other items inspired by the back story 
  • What you think the player might have to do during the game 
  • Fonts and styles 
  • Colour schemes 
  • Ideas for any music, sound effects or speech 
  • How your game will be tested 
  • Anything else you think is important

REMEMBER:
  • You MUST have 3+ images for each item on the checklist
  • All images MUST be clear and of good quality
  • DO NOT annotate on the moodboard but you CAN have headings
  • MAKE SURE you have glued today's checklist to the back and written your name on the back

EXTENSION:


  • Take 13 photos of your moodboard
  • 1 showing the overall mooodboard
  • 12 showing each of the areas on the checklist
  • Start annotating the photos in Microsoft Publisher
  • Save all work in Sites - D205SPB12 -- Evidence - Moodboard

  • Write a post on your blog telling me what you have learnt / achieved in today's lesson
