Mr Featherstone's Year 9 Classes - Heroes and Villains Moodboard

LO1 - To understand what a moodboard is and what it's purpose is so that you will be able to create one of your own



Starter

  • Use your internet research skills to find out:

  1. What a moodboard is?
  2. What does a moodboard look like?
  3. What is the benefit of using a moodboard?


Main 


Your main task in today's lesson is to create a moodboard of images relating to the Heroes and villains  project and the ideas you have for it

  • Open Microsoft PowerPoint
  • You should include images showing your thoughts on:
    • Target audience Who will the game be for?
    • Type of game What type of game do you want to produce products for? For example, you might choose a board game, a computer game or an online role playing game.
    • Characters Who or what will you choose for a hero and a villain? For example, you could use cartoon characters, animals, mythical creatures, people or a combination of these.
    • Products Outline your ideas for the characters, phone wallpaper, trading cards and box, and digital poster.
    • Resources How will you gather the main elements you need? Remember that you must comply with copyright.

  • Log on to your ICT blog and write a post telling Mr Featherstone what you have learnt / achieved in today's lesson
  • Can you add a screenshot of your completed moodboard to your post?
