#9p1 Creating An Eportfolio Using Templates

• LO - To appreciate the benefits of using a template to create your eportfolio

• Outcome: To have downloaded a suitable template and used it to create your eportfolio

• Take a look at these two different examples of students eportfolios

• Task 1 - Download A Template
• Click here to register at justdreamweaver.com (use your school email address)
• Click here and download one of the free website templates to the DA203 folder in Sites (you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page to find them) 

• Task 2 - Extract The Files
• Right Click on your downloaded template
• Choose extract all
• Extract the files into the DA203SPB folder

• Task 3 - Manage Sites In Adobe Dreamweaver
• Click the manage sites button (bottom right corner)
• Create a new site based on your DA203SPB folder
• If you do this right your DA203 folder should appear in green at bottom right corner

• Task 4 - Create Your Pages
• Click on the File Menu --> New --> Pages From Template
• You will need to make and save 3 new pages
• Index
• Evidence
• Products
• Make sure that you save all pages in DA203SPB

• Write a new post on your blog telling Miss Squires what you have learnt and achieved in today's lesson
