Task 1 - Create your own video game character
- INDEPENDENT ENQUIRERS - Choose suitable graphics software (Adobe Fireworks / Photoshop / Illustrator) to work with in today's lesson
- TOP TIP - Make sure that you use a square canvas when you make your character - this will make things easier when you load it into GameMaker
- CREATIVE THINKERS - Using your graphic skills create a character for your game. Think about the key points we discussed at the start of the lesson
Task 2 - Add your character into the game
- Load your new character over the top of the old princess one - make sure that it is 32x32
- Test your game - does your character appear in it now?
Extension Task:
- use the skills that you have learnt to create some new sprites
